Please sit down and surround yourself with all the goodness you will need.
Get snuggled in your favourite fluffy blanked on your couch and in your hand a lovely fresh-baked flower cake followed by a nice big cup of Moca.
(Oh my god! I know its kinda odd but I think I am just getting used with the coffee and flower cake life style since I moved to Perth. If you keep following me I will let you know what I am talking about!)
Ok now back to business – who is this crazy chick behind this blog and who gave her the wi-fi password!?
I have done it all.
All the crazy I-can-take-care-of-myself-and-travel-around-the-world-in-the-most-dangerous-ways traveling mistakes!
I have been trained as a youth and child care worker back in Germany. Once I finished my certificate I decided to buy me a one way ticket to a place that is as far as possible away from Germany – Australia. My master plan was … no plan at all. I just went there without knowing or planing anything really. I just decided to start my work and travel year in Darwin and from there on I will see what the world has to offer.
“One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. ‘Which road do I take?’ she asked. ‘Where do you want to go?’ was his response. ‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered. ‘Then,’ said the cat, ‘it doesn’t matter.” – Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
I have always had problem with this bit. Mainly because of the fact that I do not really know! Perhaps this is why I like travelling. It helps me to loose the social tags attached to me, and right in the middle of being lost, to find myself.
Nothingness will make you anything, emptiness will make you full.
I am a collector; I collect precious things; I collect stories; what is your story!?
I believe everyone has at least one previous story, something that makes their life unique. I am here to share with you not just my travelling experience, but I like to share with you a piece of me with all the feelings that I keep close to me.
Mid 2013, I had just finished my studies and was determined to fulfil my dream which was studying at Florence Academy of Art (Italy). Before this, my life style always was heavily involved with planning. My schedule was to detail (after all, this was the only way that I could work in multiple jobs, support my family and study full time). But this time I decided to travel with no sense of attachment; to cruse with positive intent and to have faith in what my karma has to offer me.
Reaching out to embrace the random, reaching out to embrace whatever may come #TOOL.
I met Tina when I came back to Australia. This introduced a deferent level of craziness to my adventures (and vice a versa!). In fact, this Weblog was her idea!
